Machining characteristics of honing tube
High machining precision
Especially for some small and medium-sized through holes, the cylindricity can reach less than 0.001 mm. Some parts with uneven wall thickness, such as connecting rods, have a roundness of 0.002 mm. For large holes (the aperture is over 200mm), the roundness can also reach 0.005mm If there is no annular groove or radial hole, it is also possible that the straightness can reach within 0.01mm/1m. Honing is more accurate than grinding, because the bearing supporting the grinding wheel is located outside the honed hole during grinding, which will lead to deviation, especially for small hole machining, and the grinding accuracy is worse. Honing can only improve the shape accuracy of machined parts, and some necessary measures need to be taken to improve the position accuracy of parts. For example, use a panel to improve the perpendicularity between the end face of the part and the axis (the panel is installed on the stroke bracket, adjusted to make it perpendicular to the rotating spindle, and the part can be processed against the panel).

Good surface quality
The surface is cross-reticulated, which is beneficial to the storage of lubricating oil and the maintenance of oil film. It has high surface bearing rate (the ratio of the actual contact area between the hole and the shaft and the matching area between them), so it can bear large load and wear resistance, thus prolonging the service life of the product. The honing speed is low (which is a few tenths of the grinding speed), and the oilstone is in surface contact with the hole, so the average grinding pressure of each abrasive grain is small, so that during honing, the calorific value of the workpiece is very small, the surface of the workpiece is almost free of thermal damage and metamorphic layer, and the deformation is small. There is almost no sand embedding and extrusion hard layer on the honed surface.Wide processing range
It mainly processes various cylindrical holes: through holes, axial and radial intermittent holes, such as radial holes or slotted holes, keyway holes, spline holes, blind holes, multi-step holes, etc. In addition, with the honing head, you can also process conical holes, elliptical holes, etc., but because of the complex structure of the honing head, it is generally not used. Cylinders can be honed with cylindrical honing tools, but the removal allowance is far less than that of internal honing. Honing can almost process materials, especially the application of diamond and cubic boron nitride abrasives, which further expands the application field of honing and greatly improves the efficiency of honing.

Less cutting allowance
In order to achieve the precision required by the drawings, honing is one of all machining methods to remove less allowance. In the honing process, the honing tool takes the workpiece as a guide to cut off the surplus of the workpiece and achieve the precision required by the workpiece. Strong hole correction ability
